New product - it’ll save me thousands!!

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve had to replace the prop shaft centre rubber bushing. I’ll fit this and not have to worry again!!

Pretty nifty.
Wonder what it costs?

My personal experience when changing prop at 100k was rear u/j partially seized, and as its a poor design they are all going to be the same.

Not worth the hassle, easier to change for a new complete propshaft, as mentioned up above, the U/J's get worn in a set position and are never the same after refitting.

Flack Thumbs Up

Normal price is $249, + shipping + whatever customs will sting you for

Remains to be seen whether its a long term fix or not. My understanding is there are only 2 fitted so far, and only been in "testing" for a matter of weeks...

I understand Flack - but I've just checked my records and my D4, having covered 'only' 110k, is on its third propshaft centre bearing (4 if you include the one it was fitted with originally)!!

Just had the D4 serviced & MOTd at my localish LR indie.

Now got the prop bearing on the MOT advisory.
Told they’d want to fit a new (GKN) prop shaft rather than just replace the housing.
