I’ve driven and been a passenger in vehicles with Pirelli noise cancelling tyres. They have a layer of foam in them. I’d say it definitely works.
Assume Goodyear would be similar. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Is noise really an issue? I used to run AT tyres and never even thought of road noise. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
