Discovery 3 2009 HSE - Buckingham Blue - 130000 miles (still in daily use)
Due to a change in circumstances, I am having to sell my beloved D3. It is a 2009 HSE model in excellent condition. It has just had an MOT (no advisories) and is valid until 10 Sep 2022.
History:
First registered in March 2009 this was one of the last D3s off the production line so benefits from upgraded oil pump and 6 years of Land Rover tweaking the D3 range. The car was initially purchased in Battersea, London where it stayed until 2014. It was then sold on to a chap in Cornwall who owned it for 3 years. I bought it after it had been part exchanged for a new car in Dec 2017.
Included with the sale:
- Two keys
- Genuine LR rubber floor mats front and rear
- Boot liner
- Mercedes bottle jack (a huge improvement on the LR scissor jack)
- Detachable tow bar
Service history:
It has been serviced every 6 months during my ownership, initially with LR independents and then by me as I had more time to do it myself. The car has wanted for nothing over the course of my ownership and I have the documentation and receipts for all work and parts I’ve bought.
A full service and wheel alignment were done on 11 Aug 21 and it has had all brake pads and discs, including parking brake shoes, replaced in the last year.
I have replaced all fluids including coolant, brake fluid, differentials, transfer box and it has had an ATF megaflush.
Belts were done as per the service schedule in Jun 2017.
MOT valid until 10 Sep 2022.
Bodywork and interior:
The bodywork and interior are in great condition. There is a mark on the rear passenger door card (see photos), but I have seen these for sale on Ebay for around £60.
Viewings:
I am based in Ripon, North Yorkshire with work Mon - Fri at the moment, so viewings will have to be done here, preferably after 1700.

UPDATE:
1. MOT passed this afternoon with no advisories.
2. It has also now just reached 130,000miles on the clock. It isn't driven as much anymore so don't expect it to go up by more than around 50-100miles a week.

Does this car have a towbar fitted?
Are you aware of whether it has the updated oil pump fitted?

Hi Andrew,
Yes, a detachable tow bar is included with the sale.
With regards to the oil pump, I believe that 2009 models were fitted with the updated pump (someone correct me if I am wrong). I researched this in depth before I bought the vehicle and that was the answer that I came to.
