I enquired on another thread if anyone had changed front indicators to LED. The replies led to some LED units which didn't include the base, just two pins. Nobody seemed to have changed their bulbs so I thought I'd have a go myself. dead easy !
Here are photos and descriptions.
Remove headlight units (we all know how to do that, yes?)
At the back is a separate moulding which covers the indicator bulb and is held on by 4, 7mm head screws
Undo these and take off the the plate
This exposes the bulb unit which has a torx fitting (I used T40)
Turn this anti-clockwise and the bulb unit comes out
Now, gently grasp the bulb and it will pull out of the base. The LED bulb has corresponding pins.
It doesn't seem to matter (with good quality LED bulbs) which way round they go but probably best to check they work before you put the headlamp unit fully back ! Just push the LED unit into the base locating the two pins in the base.
Test / reassemble the headlights and you're good to go Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem

Last time I looked at the led bulbs from them they were £50 a pair Are they still at that price level?
They do seem brighter, slightly darker shade of amber than the filament bulb.
main hope is they have a longer life than the filament bulbs.
Yes, they are different. I bought them a while back so I'm guessing HIDS4U have changed supplier now. Main thing is they're naturally amber and have the two-prong fitting to go in the bulb base.Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem

Can't see why these won't work. as I said, I bought mine a while back so their source might have changed / improved Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem
All I did was search for P24W LED bulbs (amber) . You'll find a number pop up and virtually ALL will just have the two pins.
Try to avoid any that include a base unless you can confirm it's exactly the right one as most of the bases are similar but NOT the same and won't fit. Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem

To remove the lamps from the headlight unit, you only need to remove the metal locking slide (just pulls out) - the remainder of the bracket can stay in place.
