Average age of D3 drivers?

Hello,

I was just reading a thread about D3 drivers not returning waves when driving! Quite entertaining.

I have had mixed success in this area but one thing I have noticed is the....how should I say....'experienced' appearance of many D3 owners! I am just curious to understand the cross section of ages in our D3 family.

I'll kick it off and say that I am 31.

Ryan.

Hi Ryan, my D3 is now almost 3 years old and I have noted that as more women start to become drivers of D3s there is a reduced tendency to return a wave. Could be a number of reasons but when I get clobbered by the good lady wife for waving at a blonde, brunette, redhead driving in the opposite direction I must admit I consider carefully my actions. BTW, I fit into the 5th category...

But I have found that almost all male drivers will return the wave and in some cases actually initiate the action to my quiet joy. And if the other driver is also towing a van, then the chance of a response is almost 100%.

Just one of the joys of ownership - and it fits in nicely with PermaGrin Mr. Green

I have adopted a policy (when im driving in the city) to only wave to D3's with mods - i generalise that the rest are just toorak tractors.

Confused

Driving home from the dealer I pulled up to an identical D3 at lights - not only a wave but a brief chat! My other car is a Lotus so used to exchanging waves with other owners!!

Mine looks standard, exept for the red kimberley dust that is still leaching out after 8 months, do I qualify as "not a TT"? Smile

The D3 is now just another shopping trolley like a Prado and no one waves anymore.

You guys have got to get a Hummer H3 with 30" bling wheels and you'll get waves again from all those other H3 tossers Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
