Hope this is the right spot as generic to all Discos. Can anyone recommend somewhere in the south east (I'm in Bromley but anywhere within Kent would be fine) for a trans flush? Geoff did my last one but he isn't on here anymore.

Hi webego,
Dartford transmission and autocare offer this service. Martin Hind who runs it is very good.

Can I ask when is a mega flush recommended? I’m assuming a ‘16 38k miler D4 doesn’t need it.

Depends how it's been treated. If it does frequent off roading or towing, then the specified interval is as low as 30k miles...

You could sell that as a bumper sticker
Yeah, thanks for the suggestion @quantumjohn. That is actually who I booked in with. Bodsy couldn't make it down my way any time soon but recommended Dartford Transmissions. Might see if they can change my diff oil while it is in (Think I might be getting too lazy these days).
Mikey, the trans flush is for a 2012 D4 just shy of 100K. I was asked if I wanted the filter changed but had read most folk don't bother. I didn't on my D3 and that has run great since a flush. Is it worth the extra £150 or whatever it was? (guess they might put a new gasket on the tray too?)
