Evening All!
Hope all is well and no ones stuck in fuel queues ....
Anyway, after a long time of reading horror stories and convincing myself that Discovery 3's are nothing but headaches and sticking with good'o Landy's of yesteryear. I've taken to plunge, ignored my friends and family and left a deposit on a very tidy, early Disco 3.
VERY EXCITED!
If all goes well and the fuel palaver calms down ill have the keys Sunday. fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed.
I was hoping to buy an Official Land Rover Workshop Manual, as I have done with previous Discovery's and Defenders but can't find anything apart from pdf's and haynes variants? I prefer the paper copies as they are handy for scribbling notes and to refer to when prepping jobs.
Did they ever release one?
Many Thanks,
Jack

Thanks Andrew, I was hoping to buy a physical copy if possible. Any idea where would be best to go?

Just get you a diagnostics tool of some type, I use the IID tool from GAP and it has paid for itself in spades. Just for the diagnostic piece alone, to say the least about being able to download new software and update the vehicle's internal setting files.
Also, you are in the right place to ask questions, I have saved literally thousands from people helping out with info on here. Plus it gave me the confidence to do even more detailed items.
Right now changing out the Transfer case for a used one I bought, so I never would have even thought about doing this VERY expensive repair on my own.
Stay on top of all the maintenance and take a look around the truck at every service to check on things. "Fix before Failure" is the mantra here.

If its like other genuine manuals you could be looking at thousands of pounds for a set of manuals. Andrew
