Thanks folks. I am using Overland 4x4 at the moment in Ashwell and have been really impressed with them so far. Very knowledgeble on drop off and friedly garage too.
They are busy and expanding and as I don't need the car desparately since I have a few available so they have it for the week to fit around other work. I asked for them to give it a good going over which they have done and quoted me a very reasonable price I feel for a new prop shaft (GKN), drop links, brake bleed, full service and a few clips and bits they noticed needed repairing underneath. Overall in good health though so that is pleasing to hear.
My rear arms have no movement but have some perishing which we agreed to do next year.
I was most impressed though that he looks for rust too and he did spot some of the orange peril looming on the offside sill. I didn't think to ask that at drop off but very happy he did and feel the car is getting attention from all angles. He's going to wire wheel it back, treat and paint - he says he likes to do that on all cars that come through to stop anything getting worse and to me that's a sign of great workmanship.
I had heard of Woodside actually and was going to buy a car from them but instead found this one via this forum. Land Rover(s) : '10 Discovery 4
