Is there any way to switch the dash lights on permanently.
I have the Canadian or Scandinavian lights setting switched on but the dash lights don’t come on unless I manually turn the lights on.

Scandinavian/Canadian DRL modifies behavior only if you have the light switch in zero (off) position. The dash lights will always be dark, however.
If you have the light switch in auto position the dash lights will turn on when the sensor decides it’s dark enough and the main beam is always on. This is what I have on at all times.
I think there was someone who modified their instrument panel to be always on but it required taking it apart.
