Discovery 4, 2016 Metal Rattle Sound From Steering Wheel
Hello,
Getting a metallic rattling sound from the steering wheel when driving in lower speed on gravel or similar rough surface. Anyone familiar to this sound?

If its a knocking you are hearing particularly under braking then its probably the front suspension arm bushes are on the way out.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Could be loose bottom UJ or its fixings to the steering column. Had similar noise on my first D3 in 2005.

I have watchedd your vid and I think that might be loose counter weight plate under your air bag as per picture
it is attached to base of the wheel with 4 self tapping torx screws as visible and I have to say my were loose before I have swapped the wheel to wooden one.
but might be wrong

Greg you were right, loose screws behind the airbag exactly as you described it.

Sorry, can't find the video. I bet it's the same. Not much else that could rattle in the area behind the air bag. Grzesiul solution worked and it's not back yet!
