Hi , been running GG AT3 for a couple of sets , Fronts need replacing and considering a change , any views on Duratracs or Falken Atw 3 ?

i have just taken duratracs off my d4 and replaced them with pirelli scorpion verde .i can say the duratracs were slightly more noisy but no where near as bad as some .and they both feel very similar in wet or dry roads i think the pirelli might have softer side walls as the ride feels just slightly more plush . tbh theres not much in it on the road i suspect but cannot say from experience that the duratracs will perform better off road ( but i dont do much off road hense the change )

Moving onto second set of Duratracs this week.
Good price from BlackCircles, with local fitment.
Great for on/off road mixed use.
Also looked at Yoko Geolanders, but went for the Duratracs as I have spare Duratrac already.

Pardon the pun, but Im going round and round in circles over this.
Ive got NOS GG AT3 as a spare when required, but Im looking to swap out my Pirelli’s as they are getting low.
Stuck between (in 255/55r20)
GG At3’s (I have spare as the 5th tyre)
Duratrac’s
Falken WildPeak At3 WA (the version we get over here in the UK)
Or the Yokohoma G105’s (in a 265/50r20 - they were fantastic on the freelander)
Heard good and bad about the GG’s and the Duratracs - leaning towards the latter because I hear they last longer and are about £25 each more than the GG’s on Blackcircles 2013 Baltic Blue D4 - a balance between family car and camping machine - trying to not bladder it with stuff I dont need!
2008 FLR2 - bit travelled and surprisingly good - exchanged for above
1967 S2a SWB - the old girl - current, original and much loved
1998 - Td5 overlander - much travelled and very much missed
1996 - 300Tdi 110 overlander - much travelled and much missed
1998 - FLR 1 td4 - my first Civvy Land Rover!

Tried the P ATs a while back.
Nice for onroad and some offroad
Duratracs are a different level.

Ended up biting the bullet and bought the duratracs. They’d dropped a couple of quid on blackcircles so I pressed the button.
I must say in the 4 miles ive done so far, the road noise is very quiet and they seem to be wearing well!! 
Will report further when ive actually done some mileage and encountered a bit of weather 2013 Baltic Blue D4 - a balance between family car and camping machine - trying to not bladder it with stuff I dont need!

Lot quieter that the old ones had become......
Plus not worried for the mud this winter.....

I’ve had 4 Duratracs fitted by Halfords this weekend, only £112 each fitted using their 15% discount and then buying a gift card using my Blue Light card.
It was wearing two Duratracs on the front and two GG AT3’s on the rear and the handling was ok, however the new boots have made a huge difference. The road noise is reduced and the handling is a lot sharper so all in all I’m very impressed with them on road. Taking it up to the Lakes in November so will be able to test off road ability.
Having said that, my old L322 TDV8 was wearing Pirelli Scorpion Verdes and that was great on and off road thanks to terrain response, I never got stuck in the mud but there were a few hairy moments where a more knobbly tyre would have helped! D3 G4 Selections car ‘08

Had Duratracs and they were really great. Excellent off-road grip and relatively quiet on pavement.
Right now, I have Toyo Open Country AT's. The tread design of these toyo tires is less aggressive than the duratracs yet still competent in all road conditions.
