Hi all
Was just wondering if anyone has any ideas
My rear tyres are screeching on curves but I am only doing less than 10mph
Any pointers would be appreciated

It's quite normal, especially on hot surfaces like of late.
To test the theory, go to a car park and turn slowly (as you say 10mph) in a tight circle and they will screech (gently).
It is to do with the diff function and the fact you have a permanent 4-wheel drive. In a tight turn, the front and back do not follow the same (exact) turning radius. Hence the scrub sideways ever so slightly.
Always make me smile in an underground car park when I am turning slowly around the bends and it sounds like your hooning around in a rally car.

Mine was terrible after I got the car, but I knew the lower control arms had been recently replaced so took it for a 4 wheel alignment.
This cured the problem instantly.

Interesting. I'm having a similar issue recently, Did 4 wheel alignment after swapping front lower and rear upper. Squeal getting more and more prevelent.
Suggestions would be the replacement transfer box I put in to replace mine with a dead bearing, but I'm wondering if the alignment's gone?

Are you sure that it is the tyres and not the handbrake.

Would the handbrake happen with a slight right hand turn? Talking 15 degrees turn?
