Coming to the end of my 2nd set of Grabber AT3s , so thinking about alternatives for a 19 “ rim , anyone had Pirelli Scorpion AT+ ? Any other recommended options ?

I've got the Scorpion AT+ on my RRS. Had the AT3 previously. Both in 255/55/19.
Not much in them, although I think the AT3 is slightly better on road - in terms of grip / handling and perhaps slightly better in muddy conditions. The AT+ looks like it would be more robust in stony conditions. The larger tread blocks on the AT+ don't feel quite as good in muddy conditions although I haven't been stuck with either tyre - both have left a bit of surface damage when nearly getting stuck, however, as both needed a bit of wheel spin to find traction (clearing the mud from the tread I suppose).
Otherwise, both are good all terrains, both quiet on road, grippy enough and definitely better when worn than the old Grabber AT was. That was also a bit noisy when half worn where the newer tyres don't seem to suffer that problem.
The Scorpion AT+ is probably more difficult to get hold of as Pirelli have strange ideas about supply. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
