Hi all, having some issues with vehicle not starting, radio sat nag and clock going off and flagging every fault code in the library. Checked everything I can and it’s looking like a faulty instrument cluster. Has anyone sent one off for repair? Worth it? Is is a used fresh one the better option? Fault is intermittent so not sure they’d find it first time on a repair.
For clarification, the only main codes staying permanent are tcm- lost comms with instrument cluster control module, PAM -lost comms with instrument control module, 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

According to my codes my instrument clusters not talking to anything but works perfectly so I’ve never looked into it any further, must be lucky I suppose. Steve

Kevin, if you use the search function for Instrument Cluster there are quite a few posts on this topic and quite a few people have sent their Instrument Cluster for repair and seem happy with the result. There are also a number of things to check which may (or may not) fix the problem.
It is also suggested that you do a Hard Reset first to see if that fixes the problem:
https://www.disco4.com/wiki/Hard_Reset Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector
Limo Tint
Blackvue front & rear dashcam
Cruise control switch pack
Bodsy's remote for FBH
