| Help for fault P004C (2F) which results in restricted perf |

Would be eternally grateful if someone can decipher this fault code and point me in the right direction.
The issue only tends to show up on long journeys when accelerating hard after a period of steady speed, so I guess it's when the turbo should be kicking in. Instead nothing happens and I get restricted performance warning come up.
The fault sometimes clears itself after parking up, but other times it requires the code to be cleared once the engine has cooled down. It only seems to happen on journeys longer than 2-3hrs.
It's an MY 2010 D4 SDV6
[P004C (2F) Turbo/supercharger boost control solenoid B - circuit low - Mechanical failure - commanded position is not reachable
Embarrassingly, I've had it from new and it has only done about 25k miles so you can read into that that it has been stationary in a garage for extended periods.

25k in 11 years! Wow. That is low mileage indeed!
I would imagine the solenoid has seized rather than failed or you are clogged up with congealed deposits (usual with underuse in all motors) I would take it apart and clean/service the actuators/ solenoids and give everything a serious going over, I think it will need it!
Hopefully it will be a simple fix for you.  A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.
