Suspension Fault
Hey i was wondering if anyone might have an idea as to what could be up with my suspension?
I bought the Disco 3 back 8 months ago with a suspension fault that only came every week or so and went away again. The previous owner put a new compressor in and it didn't solve the problem. (i have both compressors and they both run fine) It come up on the dash with an orange warning and it says something to the effect off suspension fault, normal ride height only. I cant drop or lower it at all. This is now stuck on all the time. The strange thing it i do a lot of heavy towing and the suspension readjusts the height when weight is added no problem and it never drops air out sitting for a long period of time. The suspension works just fine other than i cant raise or lower it with the switch. I tried grabbing fault codes with my scanner but it didn't get any.
If anyone has any idea what it might be that would be greatly appreciated.

Has anything been spilt on the centre console as the connector underneath it is known to give the odd problem or two

Apologies Folks only getting back on the computer now and having time to deal with the Disco. So I used my Carly OBD scanner that I use for my Audi and such. I had the feeling this would only gather Engine ECU Codes so I know it wont be getting the suspension codes I need. I have been looking into getting a diagnostic tool for the Disco. I know about the IID BT tool and in the long run it would save me money but not sure if I want to drop the £400. Does anyone have any cheaper alternatives that will work? Some people have said about the CRP123.
Anyway. The only part off the dash I have had split is around the gear stick. Now that i think about it i should check all the wires to the Suspension switch.
The battery is new a month ago and I know it was weak as I was getting a fault for all the special functions being faulty and hill decent but that issue is sorted now.

So got the new reader today and just had a go. There were several codes but i cleared them and the system worked for a couple of seconds and came back with the code C1A08-1C im hoping its as simple as replacing the Air pressure sensor but can anyone tell me where it is located?

Got some time today to look at it more. The new pressure sensor didn't solve the problem. I checked the voltage of the yellow and black wire leaving the ecu and it has 4.5v. But at the pressure sensor it's getting 0v im just wondering is this wire supposed to be a direct wire or does it go anywhere else? It looks like I might have a break in the wire?
