The centre bearing rubber went on mine last year. Two things that were advised on this forum:
1. Replace the rear propshaft not just the centre bearing.
2. Use the GKN one.
If you search rear prop shaft on the forum you'll find this advice for yourself. Gary

I had the GKN Prop shaft fitted to my D4 last week due to the centre bearing failure, cheaper than OEM for sure...

Ours went at 34k miles (2016 D4), same price as galwaygreen for replacement at the main dealer but covered by Warranty Direct minus the excess.

I’ve just been told by the dealers that the bearing they fitted in March 2019 has split - 16k miles. is there an alternative that isn’t made of custard?

Land Rover OEM and they refuse to replace it FOC as it is 2 months beyond the 2 year warranty period. I argued that the vehicle didn’t move for 6 months on account of the lockdowns but they wouldn’t budge.

Thanks for the update. Agreed that is very poor in all respects. Let's hope my GKN lasts longer. Clearly a design fault/poor component (or both). Gary
