DPF warning light

Hi all

The DPF warning light came on today. It's the first time. I found a stretch of road to run the car at 50-60mph for 20 mins or so and the warning light went out. I have been doing shorter journeys of late, so guess this might explain the DPF light. Would anyone recommend using a DPF cleaner fluid? I see that Wynns sell one.
