2800 rpm then limb mode

My disco 4 is having a issue which I left for months . It goes into limb mode at 2800 rpm and then resets back to normal after 5 mins when I turn off ignition. I gave it a little bit of a heavy foot the other day and it smoked like hell for a while. I’m assuming it’s the turbo activator is sticking or something else. I recently had work done were it blew a hole threw a alloy pipe from turbo and now this. I’m wondering if theirs anyone who can take a look and maybe repair. Cheers Adrian

You need to get the codes read, then go from there.
