20” wheels tyre rub

I have a 2005 discovery 3, I seen a few members are running 285/50/20 tyres on stormers.

Had a set of 285/50/20 Cooper AT3 fitted today and there is some bad rubbing. I don’t know if there’s an issue with my suspension height as other people don’t seem to have this issue. I also have spacer on not sure of the exact size but I can check if it will help.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

I'm guessing the issue is when turning? It is probably because og the spacers.
I run 285/50r20 Toyo, (not on stormers, but 50 offset) and don't rub.

Side note, on my suzuki I rub with smaller tires than many others run because of my 30mm spacers.

Your 100% right took the spacers off yesterday and they now clear the arches in full lock. They are very close on the inside though. Pictures below...

I had ran 285/50/20 LTZs on my old D3 on my non standard Stormers and had no rubbing issues whatsoever.
[You would get it though on the later D3s and all D4s ... but that would be on the front chassis leg extensions].

But now looking at the clearance on the upright, you need to be aware that a tyre can flex sideways [especially under hard cornering], so something to keep an eye on.
Maybe even look at fitting thin spacers to increase the clearance.
