A Land Rover warning light I have not seen before

So after a long sit waiting on a used transfer case replacement, I go the rover back on the road. I went for a drive to work this morning and I saw a weird Light come on. It stayed on and just after I got a suspension warning light Yellow Rockin rover. I pulled to the side popped in IID and reset the codes. Ride to work went without issue after that.

Then when leaving work this light stayed on the entire 15 min ride home.
I cut it off and then restarted and the light went off and has stayed off.

It looks like a Red Vehicle with 3 red wavey arrows pointing up. Like something was heating up too much or I screwed up the plugs for the heated O2 sensors. Not sure how I did that it seemed they both were side specific and the plugs were the same look but had different tunnels in them for the correct plug.

I went out to take pictures but it has not shown up again.
Does this have anything to do with function as I wanted to make a two-hour drive home to drop it off?
What is this light, it is down near the bottom of the left side of the dash where rpm gauge is its own little round light almost like some light signal arrow gone wrong.

Any Ideas?

Having issues with the radio as well but I have power to it so I think the radio is also shot. Got a replacement from Ebay coming.
Magic Hard reset no dice on reviving it.

Hey Ruper, can you identify from the dash picture below? I suspect it’s suspension warning light far left at the bottom from your description

I think his is an 05 or 06 and his suspension light was already illuminated, at least for a period when this other lamp showed up. I'm thinking it's the FBH lamp which on your illustration above (post 06) is shown as the side lights lamp. Exclamation

That's why I asked if his had an aux heater, even though it's petrol NA models might have one fitted?

Nope, not the FBH not fitted obviously.

The light or graphic was in the small circular light that in the picture looks to be the flasher lights or emergency flashers. That's the weird thing about it.

Like I said never saw this nor heard someone talk about the "RED HOT" Rover light.

I tried to draw on the computer what it looked like. It's not in any of the pages that were posted either.

See below. Forgive the finger painting, but it hasn't showed so I cant take a snap.

So I placed an arrow here for this weird light's weird location.
In the HAzard lights, location is where this was, that was the other crazy thing.

Yes that's the lamp I was referring to in my response to Kevin D3!!

On early models (diesel) this lamp indicated when the FBH was operating Exclamation
Later models, even those with a FBH had this lamp icon deleted and replaced with an icon for the side lights "on" (marker lights)

Somewhere in the back of my mind I thought there was an option for NA models to have a FBH. Since that seems not to be the case it's therefore just an indication your lights are on!!

But, on early models the icon was not changed to reflect this for the driver .

Weight of the mind

So I guess I can just ignore this even though it lit up a couple of times.

It certainly would look like some kind of heat system that's for sure.
Wow, I had never heard of this even though over the last 3 yrs I have thought I had read almost all of the Lan Rover Quirks.

Thanks Prof G

Well in NA it may be utilised for a different function, maybe try a search on here and see if you can shed any light (no pun intended)

There is a simple answer just need to find it.

Was the instrument pack flashed? Bet it’s been updated and now the fbh light comes on with the lights.

^^ I was wondering that too, If you updated it to show 'clock on dash' then that light will illuminate when the lights are on.

Is there not an option with the Iid tool to update to “clock in dash” without this indicator light operating?
The simple test is simply switch the lights on and see if the said light comes on in the dash. Whistle
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Updates

I have not updated the instr pack to the latest update yet. But had not seen this in the years since I added the clock on dash many moons ago and had never seen this. I did just download the update to the tool itself, but I did not do any ECU FLashes yet and for some time last ECU flash was transmission 2 yrs prior.

I will be replacing the radio as mine has bit the dust.

All good info to check however, its just a little weird since there were no changes in software other than updating the tool. possibly something added there, I will check the IPC for said enable/disable routine for tsaid light if enabled now.
I guess I'll ignore it if it shows. I will tell any passengers that it is a special Land Rover accessories or some such story. LOL. Tell them I am preheating the oven at the house.

IT'S BAAAAaaCK

The non-fitted, fuel-burning heater, on a NAS 4.4L Petrol Engine. I don't have it as exclaimed. I have been at the grounds cleaning today, and a couple of other little projects. After replacing the battery and removed and reinstalled as prescribed in a write-up on another board.
Anyway, I replaced the battery, and with the brake light switch in hand, I decided to hook up the leads and start her up. No faults except for our "Red Hot Rover."

Late now for me so it's rummage sales with SWMBO tomorrow AM, then back at this electrical system.

It's no major issue I am just wondering why now. New Transfer case, is all the parts that have been changed out.
Well, I am missing a heat shield but the light appeared immediately so it couldn't be a transmission temp issue. Must just be the "ghost of the Lone Rover".

Just thought I would update. I did clean all of the passenger side fender well, however, I did not go so far as to place another ground wire to the frame as this other guy did.
The next upgrade is a winch bumper, ARB Type, or actual.
I'll get at it then. Left my trolley jack at my son's home 2 hrs away so flipping a bottle jack back and forth with my one jack stand was a bitch and wore me out way too soon.

Back at it tomorrow, inspected all wires under the front passenger side to transmission. I'll go under tomorrow, check diff oil, transfer case oil, might just replace it as I have about 150 miles on the used T-case I got.

And another thing

Since I just installed the new used radio, I will do a hard reset and look for the clock update without this indicator light as suggested.
Will report back if the random light shows after all that.
