What age is your car? Fill in profile !!!
The dashes contain the imboliser code.
They have 2 problems.
1 problems with the solder joints on the rear of connector.
2 problems with soldering of the chips inside.
Search on here and you will see.
It’s possible it could be a fuse box problem behind the glovebox if you have been near that or it’s wet.
You could try disconnect the battery for an hour. And pray !

Its a 2006 so wont be effected by the solder problem, as suggested before try a hard reset

Thanks for the suggestion have just tried it & no such luck , hazard lights still flashing, little red light flashing , park brake light is on & if you press the mileometer rest button that lights up but know other displays, if you turn the key you can hear the lock solenoid but still doesn’t wind over .

Hi. Yeah managed to sort it, ended up being the connection on the 5 amp fuse for the instrument cluster behind the glove box, so to any one who thinks they have an immobiliser problem be sure to check that first could save you The stress. Many thanks to all for your help on this .

Hi. Thanks for the advice. I’m looking to take my cluster out to have a look at it to potential send away but concerned incase I cause myself problems. Can it be removed and refitted at will or is there any coding to be downloaded first, etc? Thanks again.

You can remove and refit the same one. (You wont be able to start engine without it)
A replacement one will need recoding
