Replacement wheel nuts
Where's the best-value place to buy replacement wheel nuts at the moment? Ideally singly, or as a set of 5 - I've just got a couple which are showing signs of swelling underneath the caps and need replacing.

The ones I have were bought from Advanced Factors 3 1/2 years ago. I wouldn't expect them to start corroding and swelling that soon, so I think I'll give AF a swerve! Will check out Island.

The press-on-cover nuts are rubbish where ever you get them. I've had them from various places and all had the covers loosening in months.
My current RRS has solid nuts - no covers. Much better. They were fitted when I bought it, but I'd been considering them beforehand anyway.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I just took a cap of one of my spare wheel nuts yesterday and have ordered 20 chromed plastic removable caps off the bay for £7.12 for the set.
Not sure what I'd do with all my surplus 22mm sockets though! Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Ordered a set of 5 from JGS 4x4 - £9.50, plus £4 shipping. That'll do to replace the current problematic one, and the next four to go! Just need to pick up a cheap 'sacrificial' 22mm socket from B&Q to hammer onto the rusted nut now...

Just put one of them on for now to see that it stays on.
Looks okay. Not quite as nice as brand new proper nuts but definitely better than the one I took off and it'll never swell and uses a very common 21mm socket rather than the less common (even though I now have loads of them) 22mm socket...or 23mm if swollen!
