Disco 3 Suspension software |
|
I have recently acquired an 09 D3, with an intermittent suspension fault (amongst a few other typical D3 problems!). Ive trawled the forums, looking at responses to C1A13-64 fault, and am thinking of changing the exhaust solenoid as its only £20, but Ive just discovered a new AMK compressor was fitted last year. Two questions - is it possible that the solenoid valve needs changing/servicing after just 12 months, and is it possible to check if the software was upgraded without an IID tool? I assume the original compressor would have been Hitachi, so should have needed new software. I only have access to a scanner app on my phone. Thanks Chris

The fault code suggests;
Check the Air suspension exhaust pipe and
silencer for blockage/restriction. Check the
reservoir valve block pipes for correct routing
and installation

Thanks Admirable - sounds as though Im on the right track. The exhaust valve certainly sounds possible as the fault is triggered when the compressor doesn't start up, which I assume it wouldn't if the suspension ECU thinks it cant relieve the pressure. I will check all the parts you mention - cheers
