New bearing screws
Hello,
I have found the exact tightening measures for the screws of the bearings in a Disco3 2007 2.7D.
But I found out that I am supposed to change the screws with new ones for a question of stretching of the screw itself once in place.
Has anybody any experience on where I can find the screws? In Italy LR does not sell them...
Maybe in the UK?
Sorry for my English

Hello again...
I found the bolts. Thanks for suggestions.
But... the tightening measures are wrong...
It is very confusing...
The engine is open, I have all bolts bearings etc Everything arrived from UK (thanks folks)
Too dangerous to drew all bolts with wrong measures.
Land Rover in Italy does not give me any info.
Can anybody help us?
Thankyou

Edited to correct figures.
The info I've got (admittedly for a EU5 3.0) is that the cross bolts need 15Nm then yield, so you may struggle with that one unless you have a particularly fancy torque wrench.
Main bearing caps are 40Nm, yield, then 25°. All in a particular order, outer then inner to 40Nm, outer than inner to yield +25°, caps 1-3 first then 4 last.
Hope that helps...

Torque settings are NOT Nm!!!
You have to convert them!
Big-end and main bearing bolts... i bought them from island4x4. And for sure advanced factors can de,iver them also to you..
Sent them an email, with what you need...if you can not find them there yourself... easy..
Tip: buy also new “side” bolts! Those bolts who hold the mainbearing supports from the outside of the engine!
They are made of cheese!Best regards

@Harold
This is the answer from 4x4:
No sorry I don’t have a supplier for these parts.
Regards
Sales Team @ Island 4x4
Advanced factors:
No Sir, if they are not on our website they are either hidden as no stock/backorder or not available, sorry.

Citroen or Peugeot dealer then?
LR do not list these bolts as separate parts. But maybe PSA do?
De big-end bolts can be bought at island4x4 i am sure... i bought them from them.. rimmerbros, do also sell these...
The mainbearing bolts can be reused, i did it, and. More forum members did that..
I know you have your thoughts about that, but for these bolts, grade, seize and quantity, i do not see the problem....
Measured all off them, not any sign off stretch...
Other bolts, not discussion, change them.. but these... think about it Best regards

I have found the bolts in the USA and have ordered.
The Ford F150 3.0 Diesel My 2018 has the same engine and they have listed the bolts.
