Driver Instrument Panel Illumination |
|
Even with this turned up to full ( with the variable switch below the master light switch ) the driver instrument panel is very poorly illuminated, if hardly at all, is this standard or do I have a blown bulb ?

Mine is OK, now if you comparing it to the neon style dashboards of some jap and german cars, then you will be dissapointed. The D3 is plain old green backlight, with no thrills! But IMO its just about right when turned up.
The sat nav screen is too bright if anything, and could do with an easier brightness control, or a voice activated screen off command.

I had a rental Mercedes a while ago, that switched from white to black background on the navigation screen when it was dark. This was a useful feature. Is there something like that on the Premium Navigation?

Yes I've found that one. Cheers. It would be good if it could invert the colours though at night, like Bontempi says.
