[Wanted] D3 HSE - early model if poss
Hi Everyone
I’m on the look out for a straight, clean, early model D3 HSE.
My ideal would be one in black or grey, black interior (others considered).
Service history essential, everything working as it should. Ideally cambelt done.
I don’t mind high miles so anywhere between 125-200k considered.
Up to £6k for the right Disco waiting

Do consider an SE as well.
Almost all the kit of an HSE, but no sunroof(s) to leak!
I'm biased though as I've got an SE!Richard

About to sell my 05 plate Bonatti Grey D3 HSE.
It has c.180k on the clock, passed MoT Oct with no advisories.
Doesn't have a dealer service history in my ownership as I do all my own work on it.
Looking for £4k and can take it down to Coventry as I'm heading up and down most weeks...it was up and down to Coventry 3 weeks ago.

Yes that thought had gone through my head, but it’s the xenon lights I’m after specifically. I know they were an option (I think) as I’ve seen the odd SE with them fitted, but there is just no way I could go back now to not having at least xenon headlights after living with them and LEDs for so long now (and living in the middle of nowhere!)

Early SE (and S) had xenons as standard.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Sorry Martin. My MY05 S spec delivered Jan 05 had xenons purchased as the optional Bright pack. About £700. Xenon upgrades were subsequently available on this site for £400 so I remember it as not one of my better choices.
Xenons probably became standard later because every option, except the tow pack, that I purchased seemed to do so and everything standard that I praised in my review became an extra.
