Remote Park Heater fob - coded?
I have just changed cars cos the old one was stolen. The new D4 has the FBH but I don't think has the receiver for remote operation as I can't see the antenna.
I still have the fob (the thieves didn't take my keys...!) Do I just have to buy the receiver and use the old fob, or is each fob coded to a particular receiver?
Which receiver for a 2014 HSE? T91R? Anyone have part nos please?

I got a T90 on ebay as it is the same (it worked). The fob can be paired with it there are instructions somewhere on here - not locked to a RX unit.
You will need the antenna (factory fit is not visible as behind the black edging on the glass) as well as the reviever and code it (the T9x) to the car.
Best to check in the rear where the tools are as the RX unit can be seen if present, if not the connector will be there wrapped in a bit of foam.In today's world, if you contribute something, you don't contribute enough. If you contribute nothing, you receive everything.

+1 - I have both. But they always rip that panel off to check.

You can get a loom in the shop to fit both - if you wanted.
You have the expensive bit (the fob) - you probably don't have the RX or antenna fitted but inexpensive on eBay.
I used both in the winter; the Altox is a better IMO as it is a tracker, doesn't need an antenna (quick fit), can provide your vehicle stats (temp/V) and can alert you when your batt voltage level is below a given threshold. Which is handy all year.
But the fob is fine when you can't find your phone, have no credit or someone else is driving.
You could sell your fob on to go towards the Altox You need the ALTOX WBUS-5 GPS when you search. In today's world, if you contribute something, you don't contribute enough. If you contribute nothing, you receive everything.

Just program the fob to the car once the antenna is installed. Easy to do.
