Pipe
Hi all silly question what is the drain of
i appear to be losing coolant as when at temp coolant reservoir is empty and i noticed this giving out steam? Today
The picture is nearside front underneath engine looking up

Look like the exhaust from the auxiliary Fuel Burning Heater to me

^^ As he says, the pipe in the pic is the exhaust from the FBH, it switches itself on when the temp is low and the engine is running, can give out quite a lot of smoke/steam at times

It’s meant to smoke when it’s below 5 degC
Are you sure you are looseing coolant ?
Half the tank is meant to be empty

I don't mine is working - it certainly hasn't been firing up on these cold mornings :-/

Yes i think it is as i can see no coolant in the smaller tank

The coolant tank under the cap shouldn’t have a lot in it.
The front top part should have orange or pink to the top (showing on the outside)
