3.0 SDV6 timing belt kit same as 2.7 TDV6
As title, I had a new Dayco timing belt and pulleys and and FoMoCo pump bought for my D3 never used. I now have 2012 3.0 SDv6 D4 is this still suitable? Or was there changes to all or any of this when it went to 3.0 bi turbo.
I assume it's been upgraded to cope with extra torque and power but then again........

I don't really know if they are compatible although I think they are, but if they weren't, the increase in power and torque would have nothing to do with that! Obviously the power and torque delivered by an engine does not pass through the distribution mechanism!!lost in translation!

Cheers Mike and all that good to hear. The belts and pump not long done. But here's a thing I've just thought of. Is it necessary to change the pump on the D4 or any upgraded pump for that matter as surely the upgraded pump shouldn't crack and only need replaced of leaking or not performing. Just a thought.

I would beg to differ, surely the turning force of an engine and power will be present in the crnak pulley. The belt attached to it while only turning camsgafts and pumps so load on it hasn't changed in that respect but initial load will have as the torque turning it has
