Last Disco4
Hi, out of interest does anyone know what the last ever D4 was to roll off the line (in terms of model, colour, Vin no etc)??
Also, anyone know how many of the ‘Graphite’ edition were made?
Cheers,
Kin

Supposedly it’s this one as (at the time at least) it was the last VIN that resolved.

Great thanks, it’s obviously elsewhere than the U.K. then, I’d like to think the owner knows they have the very last one!!
In relation to ‘Topix’ did you have to subscribe to get that level of detail? I registered but get very limited info on there relating my vehicle.
Also be interested to know if the month of manufacture can be ascertained from the VIN rather than just the year and whether anyone knows how many Graphite editions came out.
Thanks again for the response.

Yeah..sad really, unless you’re a Chinese Landrover enthusiast who owns a 2016 LHD V6 petrol in Santorini black with VIN ending 847658!!
Perhaps we should seek out the last UK one (or Finnish)....I reckon I was one of the last to buy a new disco 4 in December 2016 but it had been pre spec’d and registered by the dealership so no doubt manufactured some months before, hence the reason Why I am interested in finding out exactly when it was built. It’s a shame you can’t access a list of what came off the production line, when and it what volume.

Nice, mine’s quite a bit earlier starting 816 if they’re in numerical order of manufacture.2016 D4 Graphite, Loire Blue, virtually unmodified (‘cause I’m still paying for it)!!
My new one will be 841xxx. It’s a Landmark one registered Sept 16.
Don’t forget they would have stopped production to convert the line to D5 by then.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Just checked mine, which I knew was a very late model (US Landmark with the SCV6 3.0L). Its VIN is 2000 earlier than the VIN posted at the top. I’ve been faffing around with a few parts and the manufacture dates are mostly August 2016.PAGODA

Whilst I can’t be certain re the last D4, on a visit to the Heritage Museum at Gaydon a couple of years ago, a good number of “first and last off the production line” vehicles were there (which makes sense to me) irrespective of specification. They weren’t in the main building, but the one next door that was more like a huge indoor car storage area than a museum.
