I would use many other words to describe Guy Salmon and none of them are complimentary.
I'd suggest contacting Sturgess in Leicester, much better operation.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

There dealership, which has merged to make a bigger local one. It started with Thames.
They used my D4 to allegedly deliver parts to one of their customers, got a parking ticket and ignored it and then when I received a summons they came up with the above excuse. I actually think they were using it to collect lunch, as someone left their fags in it and I have never smoked.
They also damaged the rear bumper paint and did not acknowledge it, they did repair it after a too longer discussion period.
None of this in their view was wrong!Discovery commercial tdv6 auto 2013

I have experience of them, front of house is very professional, the actual service is very very hit and miss.
If you are just having a service I would use a good quality independent.
I can completey recommend Alltrack 4x4, they are a distance away, but at least you only make one trip, unlike LR Coventry where you may end up making multiple ones while they fix the things they broke during the service.
Put some marks on the current filters that show under ultra violet, and check the oil level before you leave!!David

Don't get me started on these muppets.
A few years back the Dealer Principal and I went toe-to-toe in the showroom over his workshop staff lying about fitting new parts which they clearly had not.
MAF sensors failure three months in a row on a new D4. Being suspicious, I marked them with a scribe. They said two new ones fitted. Have a nice day. I walked to the car park, turned them over and they were my originals. I didn't quite take the showroom doors off their hinges.
Scandalous "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

It’s a little simplistic, but in my opinion with all these big groups it’s down to pot luck as to how good the service manager is.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
