2015 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Lux Auto Mariana Black

Driver door card door pull

The HSE lux we are picking up next week has a very well locked after interior. There is a problem with the drivers door pull though. It is leather and I guess the previous owner wore rings as it is quite badly scuffed. Can this part of the door be replaced individually, rather than the whole card ?

I asked a similar question of this forum recently( rear drivers side door in my case) , have watched videos and had a look myself. In conclusion it appears the door pull is fixed in place with non removable plastic lugs and cannot be removed separately. It’s therefore either a new door card/trim or a repair of some kind (which on the thin vinyl covering is difficult).
If you do get different info or find a repair method then please post it as would like to get mine sorted.
They do come up for sale at breakers and on eBay, but the ones I have seen have all been for the previous sound system (and not sure they would fit my Meridien system) and also are slightly damaged themselves . Black is much more common than the almond one I need.
There’s a good powerful UK YouTube video of removing the card if you need it. Fairly simple with a few hints on removing the electrical connectors.

Thanks Gary, I came to the same conclusion having watched loads of videos etc.

May get a leather repair kit and have a play, worse case wait for a new door card to come up for sale.
