The 18" Anthracite TuffAnts for my RRS have arrived.
They may be 'inexpensive' Chinese tyres, but several people round here have suggested I try 'Radar Renegades' - LT265/65/18. If they are being used by fencing contractors and groundworkers they must be reasonably good and the sidewalls seem protected - though I haven't met any farmer who drives a Land Rover!
Lockdown means I won't be able to get them fitted.

If you're only using it for off road stuff, then Chinese stuff is probably fine.
Looking forward to seeing some RRS tyre porn when you finally get them on the vehicle... Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

My wife is not impressed by my suggestion that I paint it NATO Forest Green to BS381.

Looks so much better with smaller rims and dep sidewall tyres (IMO of course).
I wish I could fit 18" or even oe LR 19" rims on my FFRR, but sadly I can't because has SDV8 comes with bigger front brakes.
First World problem though, especially in these troubled times. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Just needs a few "one life, live it" stickers here and there and you're ready to off road.
"It's gripped!"
"It's sorted!"
"Let's off road!"
Seriously, Hugh, those look extremely impressive. If you get stuck now we will have to laugh at you! Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
