TTVevo which dosing pump

Hi,
I got a Thermo Top Vevo from a 2011 VW Touran (diesel), I believe it is the same FBH as in the D4. I managed to control it via WTT software (after wiring the W-bus pin). I am planning to install it in my campervan. I’d like to know which dosing pump is required for the TTVevo? Is it DP42?

Great, thanks Down&Dirty.
Any idea of a equivalent reference from Thomas Magnete? I would rather pay a bit less for the pump than I payed for the FBH Wink

Thomas magnete or pierburg, produce for Webasto, but do not sell the DP42 themselves... licence thing..

VW marked FBH will not work without a VW attached to them, with an software upgrade on that VW.... the ecu is CAN bus controlled... and brand specific....

W–bus on these are only for diagnostics, and thus a test start....but you can seldom start it with webasto devices.....like clock or remote, or aftermarket w–bus remote‘s

We have seen this 100 of times.. buying on ebay... VW, BMW, Mercedes, webasto‘s stay away from them unless you buy a universal ECU...... maybe yours in that year is an exeption, but ..... very small chance.. Big Cry

What you can do to save your buy...

Buy a universal ECU... there is romanian guy who sells them https://www.ebay.nl/itm/153721226807

Or Webasto themselves... also sells them..but more expensive...
 Best regards
Harold

I tried to read as much as I could about FBH before buuying, but that was not enough. I realized a couple of hours after having placed my order that getting a VW part will be an additional difficulty in my project.
I’ll use it to warm-up water for the shower, so I don’t need to have it as autonomous as a parking heater is. In the worst case I’ll run diag sessions...
Webasto product range is not easy to understand, TT V, evo 4, evo 5, Vevo... and variants on a per car manufacturers base... Sad

Universal ECU, that sounds a good idea. Thanks.

Regarding the pump, I have seen WOS9019847C and WOS9019847B, is there really a difference worth considering ? I have seen the C version on much newer vehicules but could not find which version was used on 2011 cars.

Seen it a lot... people get oppurtunitic and go for aa seemingly cheap option...
„It could no be that hard“ ...... well in parkingheater land... there is a lot of mis confusion...

The easy way.......sell the VW unit!

And order this one... (eberspacher is the „other“ major brand in FBH....)

https://standheizung-ersatzteile.com/hydronic-s3-d4e-12v-cs

It is new, includes the dosing and waterpump... etc... it is universal (car brand independant)
You only need a switch or clock to buy to control it...

I have no affiliation to this firm.... just more than 15 years experience FBH ‚rs

Thumbs Up
Cheers
