Compressor or valve block issue

Hi fellas .
Ok ive an issue which is strange as its not giving a code .
I had been putting the disco into extended mode and now its taking an age to inflate the front .
The rear comes up pretty fast but then it takes a while to raise the front.
All I get is vehicle is raising slowly and it takes about 3 mins.
I let the compressor cool to 17 degrees and give it another go .
Same as .
Watching the live data the temp of the com presser got to approx 80degrees and the gallery pressure was about 650kpa to 700 kpa once it was up it went up to about 1300 kpa .
So am I looking at a new compressor a repair or is the issue more like a front valve block .
The compressor is a AMK type .
Thanks for any info guys as always .
Baz

I doubt it’s the front block. Computer raises rear first.

Could be compressor I think or leaky tank. (List for hissing by passenger door )

Hi .
Ok ive had it off and stripped it the pump that is .
All seem ok and the piston moves free.
I've put it all back together and its not bringing up the slow raise fault now .
But going into off road still seems a long time .
It is getting upto 1759 kpa and then stops and the gallery pressure drops to about 300 kpa .
Does any one know how long it should take to reach off road height and has anyone rebuilt one inc piston rings etc.
Also no leaks on the pipes or receiver either
Regards
Baz

Check the reservoir on the top near the front wheel, its a known rust spot. You also need to do a full leak test, the gallery fills first, ( the pipes and airbags, then the reservoir) so you need to check for leaks.

A good system should reach full 1750 ish Kpa in around 3 to 4 mins. a bit longer from full empty.

Short out the relay and listen for air leaks without the engine running.

Hi guys OK.
Well no leaks anywhere and last night i raised it to the off road height and it was still there thus morning.
So bypassing the relay I listened for leaks this morning and nothing.
So I tried to get it into extended mode by putting a block under the chassis rail and lowering it .
It starts to drop and hits the block and says extended mode but looking at the height of each corner it does not really go any higher than off rd mode so now im flummoxed by it .

We ige give it another do but still at a loss.
I can force extended mode and then hold the raise switch up and get the bong but the motor doesn't raise up above the 50mm off Rd setting on the corner sensors.so im befuddled by the Censored

A thought has just occurred its been fitted with an AMK compressor.
And I'm wondering if it needs programming for the truck or am I barking up the wrong tree here

It should still work even with the Hitachi software installed, but you need to check it, You had the icarsoft tool the other day can that tell you what software is installed.

Thats nothing to do with it, you need to get the Suspension ECU read to see what is installed on it.

Its all strange I've played about again this morning and hey presto into extended mode which when measured was 21.5 inch from the center of the wheel yo the bottom of the wheel arch trim so I lowered it again and tried once more ......can't do it again 🀣🀣.
I've a feeling that there is a certain criteria req to make the bear dance and once into extended mode and out it needs to drive to clear the obstacle before it goes into the higher settings again.
I have to say its a clever bit of kit and at the moment its a love hate relationship πŸ™ƒ πŸ™‚.
This it in super extended.
.I think
