After a strightforward upgrade with the iid tool i lost all audable output on mine and had no sat nav. Had to go to main dealera to have the original build files reistalled. Happened twice now with 2 different tools used no one can work out why..the reinstall obviously resets it all but dosent explain why it happened very frustrating MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

It was my BAD!!!!
In conjunction with the physical replacement of the auxiliary battery and performed the "Auxiliary battery Replacement" on the tool, I had activated the DAB option but without connecting the receiver, since I would have installed in the coming days.
I had done the same thing in my previous MY2011 and, until I physically installed the DAB receiver, the "DAB" button appeared on the main display of the car but "greyed". After connecting the DAB receiver, the button has been activated automatically.
Evidently in MY2014 the trick does not work, in fact you have to activate the DAB in the CCF after having physically connected the receiver.
The fact is that, following Patrick's suggestion (GAP) I restored the backup (which the IIDTool makes automatically) and the radio is back active.
I did not know that the IIDTool kept in memory the original backup by default !!!
I have to read better, no! "study well" the IIDTool manual !!!
Thanks Patrick!!!
I have the feeling that the system from MY2014 is much more "sensitive" to the "near wrong" changes of the previous ones, but it is only my feeling ....Discovery 5 tdv6 HSE Corris Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

I've got the same behaviour on my FM Radio after my media update and we think (hope) its CCF based.
DAB works fine but when press radio I see same thing as in your video
What was involved in your fix - restoring factory settings or similar

No ,
partly because I've made so many CCF edits to my Disco I'm not sure what the starting point should be
Here's what I can remember changing the CCF for so far
Cruise Control
Heated Seats
HSE Memory Seats
Puddle Lights
Updated lights and washers
Big ICE media update - about 30 edits
