its for a footwell light.
does the other side have a light ? or extra on your model

Had the same question months ago... Found the wire, found the light far far away.,.. connect them both and voila.
I suppose previous owner did not like those lights... Both sides were disconnected.
I not even knew there were lights there

No light my side and other side flickers even with new bulb lol
Presume it was doing the same
Good riddance to it if it’s just a floor light

Lights are tricky in some disco i suppose.
Changed the glovebox light today. What a pain in the back side
I suppose previous owner got with that before, as the trims where broken around the switch and the bulb was still original

It’s a good job to be fair might be a handy trick for others who cba fixing it and sick of jamming card in 😅
