[Swap] anyone got or want to swop a stock exhaust for mine?
Hi folks,
I change my exhaust to the following - standard centre section and removed the rear silencers for straight pipes. - gives a small but plesant change to the sound of the engine mostly when idling or low revs.
I want to change it now to - straight centre section and stock tail pipes (with the 2 silencers) - will give that extra sound which i am looking for.
Does anyone have a stock exhaust for sale or would anyone swop their stock centre and rear pipes for my stock centre and striaght rear pipes?
I am from Hertfordshire and happy to travel.

The below are are the tips that i ordered which replace the rear silencers, i didn't use the tips so you can't see any difference, it just makes a small difference to the sound.

I have a full (centre and rear) stock exhaust spare - removed when I added a Twisted one - I also come up the A1M most months (apart from this one...) if you haven't found one by December /January, drop me a PM and maybe we can sort something out.

Hi Steve, I believe the rear parts of the exhaust are the same on the TDV6 and the V8 - just the cetre part is different but i am subject to correction - maybe someone else knows for sure and can comment?

Amusing as we have been discussing the same...... one V8 has no centre box and sounds raucous ( some have recorded same on here). On the other V8 we have the normal standard boxes. I think latter is best quieter and appropriate. I can understand younger folk wanting the noise but ......really 2.5t does not shift that quick D3 2.7 Zermatt silver (not another one)

If you are still looking and none of the other deals workout, I am down in Kent so not that far, would be happy for you to come and swap them over pending a couple of questions., or I come to you. Do these drone on when cruising along as I do a lot of towing and long distance towing. Cheers
