I am looking for new tyres for my D4
Currently fitted are 255/55/19 Goodyear wrangler
My mileage is about 12k a year with 85% of that done on road but I do need some off-road capability too
I am looking for options
One so far has suggested are Devanti (due to low noise, good in the wet, good fuel consumption and I understand they are used on experience vehicles) but they don’t seem to do my size. Plus they are a British made tyre I believe
What are you suggestions please
Budget is also a factor that I need to consider
Thanks

Budget tyres tend to wear out faster as well as other disadvantages, so whilst initially cheaper end up being false economy. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Just had a look..... the fuel rating and wet road rating is pretty crap...or is this about normal for an All terrain tyre.

My use is the same as yours and I've had two sets of Pirelli ATRs and been happy with them. I got 30K+ from my first set and changed before the wear indicators. Good in the dry and wet; OK on snow (don't believe anyone who tells you their tyre is perfect in dry, wet and snow!)PAGODA

Pretty much normal and on 12k miles pa it’s negligible in reality.
As above, Pirelli ATR’s were by far my favourites. However, with the new AT Plus, their future production is questionable.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Ive been very happy with Goodyear Duratrac.
They look aggressive, but you wouldn’t know it driving about.

Pirelli Scorpion AT+ (someone else said ATR). I’m happy with mine. As far as the winter goes, unless there’s an insane amount of snow and ice, I’m thinking of NOR changing to studded tires at all this season.
