Ordered a new Disco3 for delivery 1st Jan.
Used to have a Defender 90 300tdi, was fine until it came to long motorway journeys-just too uncomfortable and noisey. Ace off road though.
Visited local LR main dealer (not far from Beaconsfield) with the intention of buying/leasing THREE Disco 3's. Their service was complete and utter garbage, they just could not give a  weather they got my custom or not. Bearing in mind we are talking about £120,000 worth of business. s.
In the end I am going to lease them for three years, full maintenance from an independant lease company that are delighted to have our business.
At least this way I don't have to pay to fix 'em.

My dealer would have been very happy with the deal AND will look after you too. Maybe its cause they are in the countryside with real users and don't have city commuter types as their main customer base... not that you are of course 
I've bought three LR's from them so far and they have always sorted me out properly - slowly sometimes though... due to LR.
