FBH controller fault codes |
|
Hi all, have used furlough to add a BAS FBH controller. Install went fine apart from the headlamp splice (but that’s another story).
Lucky using the SMS activates the heater as normal, however I get a fault returned ‘no start’ after a few minutes. At the end of the cycle the reported temp was only 17 degrees. It definitely fired up and produced fumes but they weren’t constant, so assume it wasn’t on long enough to get up to temp without restarting. I don’t have a PC so loathe to go down the Webasto diagnostic route!
Does this point towards a fault in the fbh, or my dodgy wiring?😂
TIA

Should also add there’s no faults stored for it on the IID tool and it seems to run through the test run fine, although hard to note with the engine on

Cheers Pete, it’s 7 minutes in and has restarted twice with the coolant going from 19 to 22 degrees so far.
I’m just not sure whether the fault lies with the fbh, the device or my wiring! Suppose I could service the fbh 😭
