Travall dog guard for Disco 3/4 is excellent.
Having previously owned the genuine LR dog guard and found it rattles a lot, I got rid and have replaced it with the Travall version.
It's much less cumbersome, allows you to fold the seats down and load though, half the size so easier to fit and, because of the way it is fitted, it doesn't rattle.
Top marks all round.
Nothing in it for me, but just thought I'd share my experience.

I've just asked about dog carrying options - this looks like an interesting option.
Selling the existing LR full height guard and replacing with Travall kit still leaves me way ahead financially compared to the TransK9 options. For instance I could splash out on 2.5 of the fancy 12v fans...
Joking aside - thanks for this.Cheers,
Gareth

Good timing then. Just seen they also do a divider, should that suit your needs.
They are always on eBay for about £50 - I had been looking out for one but they were never close enough.

Can the guards be fitted without the braces that appear to go down into the boot?
I've been wondering about one for when we go camping, to stop luggage sliding forwards in the event of hard braking / an accident, but I'm a bit concerned that the braces will get in the way of the tent, ruckacks, coolbox, kitchen sink , wife & kids paraphernalia...
It would only be fitted a couple of times a year for that; assume they can be easily removed and refitted?MY2012 D4 HSE in Siberian Silver, 1967 MGB

Very easily fitted and removed, takes around 10 minutes with practice. It’s all done with hand turning plastic knobs so no tools required (unlike the LR one). They also fit closer to the roof so no gaps for little paws (or heads) to try and get through.
I wouldn’t worry about the supports being in the way as they run next to the wheel arch anyway, just pack something soft next to them and you’ll never know they are there. If you REALLY need that extra space then leave one of the kids at home
When I have my three cats in the back I just place an old pillow over the stays and then cover with an old duvet, blanket, another duvet, another blanket etc.. I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Just caught up with the posts on the forum,
I also bought one from a forum member earlier in the year.
Brilliant. Easy to install and with a full space load cover and heavy-duty LR boot liner (also from a forum member) a really good set-up to transport the dogs.2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)
