Advice please on EGR valves?

At service last week, the garage mentioned that both EGR valves on my Discovery 3 are throwing an error on their diagnostic tool. There are no symptoms at the moment and the mechanic suggested not changing them until they start to cause problems. I have looked all over the internet and prices for new replacements are wildly different. The car is a 2007. Please could someone advise the correct part number and a solid manufacturer? I absolutely don’t want the cheapest if that risks doing the job twice but also don’t want the most expensive if there is a quality alternative.
Many thanks all.

Hi, mines at a similar place so im interested too re recommended parts (I dont want to do a blank). I think the advice to carry on driving is fine, mine showed a check engine light which cleared overnight but still had the code logged when I went to the garrage the next day.

when driving I had the loss of power at low revs which cleared. I have been doing far too many short trips of a mile of so for the last few months which cant help. Getting to the point Im thinking of getting a little econobox car for the local trips and just use the disco for offroad, distnce and tow work.

OEM valves only Thumbs Up

Cheaper aftermarket alternatives will barely last 6 months...

As above , I need advice.
Mine's an 06, so i know i'm fine blanking it off without EML getting triggered.

However it does make metallic crashing sound which annoys me.
Do I :
    1. Blank them off and disconnect the wires
    2. Buy a cheap non OE - EGR replacement, fit that, and then blank them off

I imagine just blanking them as is will not get rid of the metallic crashing sounds.

Without the EGR's enabled won't the engine take longer to warm up? That'd be my only concern about removal
