Looks to be an improved version of the Cooper Discoverer ATT, i.e. with better performance ratings on dry surface, wet surface, wear etc. I have the ATTs and would not hesitate to recommend them, they are very good multi purpose tyres. And these seem to be even better.

So it’s good for highway/road use as well as off road?

I have the Cooper Discoverer AT3 Sport - I find them fantastic for all round use. M+S rated. I can’t find any fault with them yet! Due to get another set soon.Defender 110 2.4 TDCi Utility Station Wagon.

Looking at the tyre reviews website:
AT3 was replaced by AT3 Sport which has been replaced by the AT3 Sport 2
I wonder if the AT3 4S (stands for 4 season) is slightly more road biased than the AT3 Sport/Sport 2?
Both 4S & Sport 2 are now 3PMSF rated

Just found this ref those tyres
Note: While snow-rated all-terrain tires like the Discoverer AT3 offer strong snow traction, their overall wintertime performance isn’t on par with winter tires. For more information see Snow-Rated All-Terrain Tires vs. Winter Tires.)

Confusing or what
Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S Review of Specification
According to Cooper Tire, the AT3 4S is specifically designed to grip rocky or smooth surface, under the most severe weather, rain or shine. Then, they continue with saying that this tire offers a blend of off-road performance and on-road comfort, with traction on every type of surface. Even though it is not a snow tire, Cooper promises that it delivers confident traction in light snow – it even has the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF) for severe snow service. That said, this is still not a winter tire, and you shouldn’t consider it as a replacement for one.
