I am considering fitting mud flaps to protect my trailer & the rear of the Disco from stones bouncing off the trailer & chipping the paintwork on the Disco. My concern is however, would the flaps be a hindrance when driving in soft sand & possibly get damaged? Any trailer pullers had a problem with this? Ren Colyn

Have a look to this discussion.
Some have solve the issue of breaking their mudflap by fitting some Defender ones.
