Hi All
Just a note to thank you all for your support over the years on the forum.
The time has come to move on from my beloved D3 to a FFRR.
My D3 has been a source of great pleasure and doesn’t owe me a penny. I bought it new 12 years ago and have put 180,000 permagrin miles on her. Mostly motorways, never off roaded (if you exclude farm tracks going to fisheries and shoots) and always looked after. I have all the paperwork to prove it! Kids have left home (or are in the process of doing so) so I don’t need to lug their stuff around the country anymore.
Having just replaced all the EPB system including the black box, discs, shoes and pads plus a new battery and a full service and 12 months MoT she will go to a good home. She will go into the dealer on a P/X in two weeks time (give or take). Only got £2,500 for her but I will be selling the upgraded D4 steering wheel with BBS boards, stalks, dog guard etc on the forum to try and recoup a few extra pennies. I know she is probably worth £4,000 plus but I don’t have the time over the next two weeks to get it all advertised and deal with the inevitable tyre kickers.
Hope you all come through Covid intact and that normal life resumes early in the New Year

Good luck with the FFRR - I am sure there are a few lurkers and active members on here that would love a one owner well looked after D£ irrespective of the miles.
A few lines in the D3 sales thread could yield a price that pays for Christmas and New Year
