Every now and then I click to read a thread that has activity (using the mobile website in iOS it shows as orange) and I can’t see any content. I just see a message “no new posts since your last visit” and then when I click the logo to go back home, all of the unread topics I was planning on reading are marked as read. Does this happen to anyone else? Not a massive problem but a minor annoyance.
Android people... Please don’t tell me that iOS is the issue

Totally addicted to the forbidden fruit on ipad, iphone and mac and never had anything like this. Possibly an update required??

I’ve managed to get the same happen to me a few times. I surf the site exclusively using iPad. It seems to be rather hard to reproduce reliably - I’ve tried it few times.
FWIW I’ve seen it happen on at least iOS 12, 13 and now with 14.

I am up to date with iOS 14 too and have seen it happen pre and post the latest update. I too have not been able to spot a pattern but I’m glad to hear it’s not just me!

It's Apple filtering what you're permitted to see.
Just odd I've seen it on windows and android. Only very rarely persists beyond a refresh. .

That’s interesting. I logged out and back in again earlier and everything was marked as “read” still after seeing that message. I will try and stop a pattern.
