Great cars. Lots of information if you search for it on here. If your budget can run to it I recommend the Euro 6 engined cars, 2015 (some) onwards I believe. The ones with Adblu... Engines and mapping better.

I'd always check any car I was keen on using vcheck.uk too, miles better than HPI which seems stacked in the Dealers favour to me.

Good luck with your search

Arguably the best all round vehicle ever. As above, get an EU6 (AdBlue). Good luck in your search. Thumbs Up

Guys,

Thanks for your replies so far, they certainly seem to tick all boxes. We’re looking for something with 7 seats, auto, good for towing (possible small boat).

We drive to France once or twice a year for family holidays, ski and summer.

So hopefully the Disco 4 will do everything we want as a family car.

Should I be concerned about high mileage 90k+ if the Belts have been done could I expect another 100K with regular servicing and TLC?

Thanks again for responses so far.

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy,

I have just returned my lease MY16 D4 Hse Lux at 93K miles. It was still going strong but if it had been mine and I was keeping it I'd expect the rear suspension arms to need looking at and a few other checks.

IMHO higher mileage isn't necessarily a bad thing but what counters it would be a decent Indie history of servicing and fault fixing. Preventative maintenance in other words.

The EU6 and newer cars are well sorted for the D4 model range and if your budget means higher mileage for a younger car then in your shoes I'd be very tempted to do that - plus a Warranty Direct for 3 years for the peace of mind...

Good luck!

Thumbs Up
 Jim
