Shirt hanger - Anyone used one of these?
The missus and I do a lot of travelling when we’re not locked down, around the UK, Europe and back and forth to our narrowboat.
She doesn’t travel light and loves to keep things on hangers so they’re not creased ski was looking at one of these and wondered if any members had used on in a Disco3 and if it was a success or not? I don’t particularly want to use cable ties to keep it secured every time it’s used which some reviews suggest, not designed for that.

Looks like a sturdy piece of kit but I think iy has it's possible problems :
If fitted in the rear of the car, dresses etc. would be touching the floor
If too many items are hanging up, visibility through the rear view mirror will be restricted/non existant.
Rear seat passenger space reduced.

Persuade MrsG to travel light. SWMBO managed to do 2 x 6 month trips on hand baggage only, 7kg. Luckily she, like me, doesn’t worry about creases.

For £22 take a punt. Sounds like its just the two of you so rear seats not an issue and you can always put a sheet down to cover the foot well if its dirty. As for seeing out the back, you've got wing mirrors.

I have had a piece of copper pipe fitted in mine for around 8-10 years now..
Around £5 from wicks /b and q etc..
Works a treat.
You won't know its there after a week or so.

I know how you feel. Weekend trip to Devon, just the 2 of us, and I'm thinking I'll have to get a trailer.
Worse than that though is the apartment we rent is first floor and awkward staircase so I'm knackered when I've got everything unloaded..

Fifty suits? Load of 50 lbs? On the little jacket hooks? maybe on the grab handles though. And then the garments have to be carried to the vehicle loose, and away at the destination.
I have a case my mother used called a "Rev-Robe" made about 70 years ago by Revealation Luggage. It is basicly a big square box with a removable front panel and a hanging rail inside. A sort of curtain goes over the hanging contents and anything longer than the box can be folded up flat and secured by refitting the front panel. Turns lots of floppy clothing into a solid hard box suitable for the back of a Land Rover or the Orient Express. It can actually be used as a wardrobe just by sitting it on a worksurface, or hanging it from a very substantial hook! I suspect a modern version will be used by the wardrobe people on film and television location work.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Samsonite Suiter
I got an older version of one of these and used to use it a lot when travelling for work (back in the days when you could do that kind of thing).
Easily get 2 suits and 5 shirts in it, plus shoes, underwear, casual gear etc, and they come out the other end looking pretty good with a bit of careful packing. Hang the shirts in the bathroom with the shower on full hot and things look pretty ironed.
Not sure how it would work with dresses.......2018 1.5Ti Skoda Octavia - dull as f&ck
